Happy Thanksgiving! I know I promised some other posts (and I’ll get to them), but things have been crazy for me. I need to get a better routine locked in.
Anyways! Here’s the schedule for this week!!
RunDisney Goofy Challenge Week 22: I’m putting my plans in parenthesis, keep in mind I’m slow…
Tues – 45 mins (I’ll be doing 4 miles)
Thurs – 45 mins (I’ll be doing 4-6 miles)
Sat – 10 mile walk (I may do this on Fri…haven’t decided yet)
Sun – 23 miles (I may cut this and do 15-20, haven’t decided yet)

Hey! It’s a brand new series!
Remember a few months back when I said new stuff was coming??? Well, here’s the start of it. Things have been a bit more hectic that I’d had hoped so I haven’t been able to get rolling with the new series that I wanted, but this one will start today and run on each Thursday through early January when I head out for the WDW Marathon 2015!

AH! I am starting to get a bit nervous about the Marathon.
I’m really chill with regards to the half itself, but to take on the Marathon again, and back to back with the half…I don’t know what I was thinking!
I did get a run in last week and started a 21 day fix with Team Beach Body yesterday which includes 30 min work outs each day.
Here’s the training plan for Goofy for this week!
Tues – 45 mins running
Thurs – 45 mins running
Sat – 8.5 miles walking
Sun – 20 miles run/walk
My plan:
Mon – Total Body Cardio (DONE!)
Tues – 4 miles + upper body
Wed – lower body workout
Thurs – 4 miles +pilates
Fri – Cardio Fix
Sat – 6 miles + strength
Sun – 12 miles +30 mins yoga

I think I mentioned last week about my dog eating one of his deer antler chews. Yeah…that was fun. Anyway, I didn’t do any runs because (excuses, excuses, i know…) he needed meds and separated meals and no activity so…yeah.

How’s your training coming along?

My this week has flown by. For realz…
I did get one run in last week and felt really good about it. Then life happened again. HOWEVER, i spent Friday night out dancing with friends and according to my fitbit I racked up the equivalent of more than 5 miles just dancing. Then we spent Saturday morning walking all over our alma mater campus. My fitbit had died so I’m not sure how many miles we did, but at minimum 2 miles…probably more like 3-4 would be my guess (its a big campus).
I am currently deliriously tired as we spent last night at the Emergency Vet because our dog decided to gulp down a piece of deer antler at 10pm last night. We didn’t get home until 430 this morning and I was into work by 10a. While they did have to surgically remove the antler (it was sizable), it did come out just fine and he is recovering well and will be coming home with us tonight.
That being said, not sure what I’m doing about a run tonight. I may postpone until tomorrow and do one on Thursday and then long runs on Sat and Sunday.

By the way…if you want to RunDisney in 2015 there are still marathon and goofy spots open for the 2015 marathon weekend!
In other news… It looks like Tower of Terror 10 miler and Expedition Everest are absent for the 2015-2016 RunDisney calendar year. So if you want to run Expedition Everest — do it in 2015! As for ToT, you are SOL.
