Wow! Can you believe it is October?
I have 10 events done for this year and only 3 more to go!
My next race is local — The Hershey Half Marathon in Hershey, PA.
I am super excited for this race.
I’m also looking forward to some other stuff for October:
– Testing myself with some challenges: meatless Mondays, homemade food for a week, and possibly eating vegan for a whole week (or longer). I am debating pushing back the vegan thing to another week.
– Busy, busy, busy work!
– Halloween! AH! I can’t even stand it. I want to get about 10 different costumes for our dog! I’m thinking…lion, yoda, little german guy (liederhosen for dogs!)…ah so many options. What do you think he should be?!
Some goals for the month:
1- Those challenges I mentioned above.
2- Making sourdough bread again.
3 – Make homemade croissants (part of my 30 before 30 challenge)
4 – Take a class at my gym (TRX/Zumba/Yoga??)
5 – Get our house SUPER clean (I feel like that quote that says “cleaning your house when you have children is like trying to brush your teeth while eating oreos” Oscar is worse than a kid…) I also heard a good quote the other day where the person said “I’m raising children, I’m not raising a clean house.” Right now, we’re raising a 9 month old puppy. So while we like to keep the grossness to a minimum, a little clutter isn’t a big deal. :o)
